NL1 – HDD READ-ONLY issue! [Fixed 07/17]
Hi Client,
There seems to be some issues with Global harddrive and we think we should replace this disk asap. As the drive is going into read-only mode frequently.
The machine crashed after the raid array became degraded and upon rebooting the file-system went into read-only mode so we will need to take the machine down into single user mode to run an fsck (file-system check).
Unfortunatly since the issue is recurring, we prefer to remplace directly the hdd!
Here are the errors being displayed in message log

SQL are currently not usable due to read-only mode and we will keep the server online until a new disk is installed.
Hardware are not something we have control over it, so please bear with us until account are restored to a new hard drive.
Support Ticket will remain on hold since further update will come once everything is settled you can through follow our status page to see where the process is!
16h Update: Server will be shutdown to be able to install the new hard drive, server will be back to normal at around 21H (EST)
17h Update: HDD as been replaced and restore as been started account
1h24 Update: Account as been restored unfortunately the backup currently present is a 4 days old backup newest backup will be restore within few hour via rsync! Sorry about late update we we're busy with the drive and preferred restore account from backup servers to get your site online as more fast as possible! nameserver should resolve properly within few second from this update!
Update: Well, we lost the data on the old driveĀ actually this happened because the I/O tree was corrupted and drive had lost its FS type configuration, if you want us to restore any backup you take on your own open a ticket to get it restored.
20% of your monthly invoices will be credited to active user on NL1 server per our SLA!

The fact that this happened just a few minutes before I managed to log into cpanel to run a backup. I hope you resolve this problem as soon as possible and hopefully all the data remains recoverable.
You are out of luck, well here at UnderHost have 2 off-site backup server to avoid any data lost
no data are lost the server are still online with file in it.
Simply SQL are not available due to read-only mode!
Is there any ETA on how long we should wait till i can connect to Cpanel? I really need some data from MSQL data base.
Thanks
We can’t give an ETA yet since we are waiting after our datacenter engineer, once the new HDD is installed an ETA will be updated on post!
Update: Server will be shutdown to be able to install the new hard drive, server will be back to normal at around 21H (EST)
